I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Invaluable (Allston, MA) in Jun 2017
Interview
I was initially contacted by a recruiter, then had a phone screen with the hiring manager. I enjoyed meeting with the executives; I thought they were very interesting people, and I thought the company's business was fun and interesting as well. The only unpleasant interview was with a fellow engineer who was intent on proving he was smarter than me; it was awkward and I was uncertain if I was supposed to compete with him or be deferential. I was rejected because for some reason they felt I was unwilling to mentor junior developers.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Invaluable (Boston, MA) in Apr 2017
Interview
Recruiter contacted via linkedin. She scheduled an brief overview of the job and what i am looking for stuff. She was so rushed in the entire process, she was not even happy to answer any of my questions. She wanted to hang up the call as soon as the called me.
After a few days i got an email saying we are not hiring people on visa. Like if you don't want to hire people on visa then please mention that in the jd. STOP wasting time.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Invaluable (Boston, MA) in May 2015
Interview
I was called by a recruiter who saw my resume on Indeed. First question off the batt was about my salary expectations. Brief but friendly phone call. Several days later I was contacted to have a phone interview. During interview I was asked about my salary expectations again. The interviewer didn't ask me any other questions, and only gave me a chance to ask her one question before abruptly ending the call. The recruiter kept saying she would send me a personality assessment, but I never received it despite asking multiple times. Everyone I talked to seemed very nice, but didn't feel like I was actually interviewed.
