Phone interview with their recruiter who was very professional. I told her that the hours were not an issue I've got many years of one call close sales experience and I reiterated both of these during my interview with the hiring managers
The issue is the hiring managers seemed rather inexperienced. they told their recruiter that they disqualified me because I asked if earlier shifts were available. Again, I didn't have a problem with working afternoon and evening I merely inquired.
Not quite sure what this company is looking for but I actually have law enforcement experience in addition to many years of sales experience so maybe I was just too experienced for them. In fact, when I re-read the job description again I've got more years of sales experience than they require. I guess they use the zoom video interview to make sure and knock out any middle-aged candidates.
I would give them some advice that if they're going to claim that you can make 45 to 55 k your first year they should speak to that with more confidence. I got the feeling that the negative reviews here on Glassdoor regarding compensation are 100% accurate.
