After moving to offer stage, I was told my stated salary range was too high, despite recruiter confirming in our initial conversation and second conversation that my stated range was in line with the role. .

I met a recruiter at a campus career fair and discussed internship opportunities. I ended up getting invited to a dinner where I met the rest of the marketing team as well as some upper-level management. Had a great time and ended up getting invited in for a formal interview.
