I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Insubuy in Jan 2022
Interview
I have interviewed with a lot of companies and I have never seen any company don't respond to me after I've done a coding project for them, each of them responds to me, that's how they respect their candidates for spending hours on the coding challenge. I've spent so much time building a coding project from scratch for you. don't you think you should take a few minutes to send me feedback?
I finally got a response from your company on glassdoor. and you said it's not feasible to respond and there are no legal OR ANY KIND OF obligations to respond to your candidates.
“not feasible"? We all know it costs much much more time to review my code than send me an email. why it is not feasible to respond to me? The answer is simple: you can, but you don't want to respect us.
Yes, there is no legal obligation to do this, but why are you talking about legal obligations? legal obligations are the bottom line of morality, where are your moral obligations? Seems like you have never considered that in your response. Don't you think you at least should have some moral obligations to respond? I don't understand what you mean by "no any kind of obligation to respond".
Maybe it is acceptable for you to say that you can't respond, but now you are telling me that you don't think you should respond, that's totally different. It's horrible that you think it that way.
You said I contacted someone "last night", and that person has left for the day and is going to email me "today morning". This is not true. I contacted that person and I waited over 24 hours before I shared my experience on Glassdoor and that person still hasn't responded. I sent that email asking for feedback on Wednesday night and still no response by the end of the week. It wasn't me who contacted that person"last night". Seems like I'm not the only one asking for a response. You also waste the patience and time of a lot of other candidates. They spent time on your project and have to wait and ask you for a response.
And YES, you don't have any kind of obligation to respond.
He interviewed me in his garage. He was wearing no shoes or deodorant. It was an illegal sweat shop. His wife was also there. Not at all normal. Well maybe if you wanted to work at a porn shop.
I applied online. I interviewed at Insubuy (New York, NY)
Interview
Simply waste of time, do not ever apply to this company. Interviewer asked me some basic technical questions and asked me to do coding , I answered almost all the questions correctly, but I was never contacted by them.
Please note that we typically get many resumes for every position we have open. Even though you might have felt that you did very good in an interview, that may not necessarily be the case. Even if that is true, it is certainly possible that we found more qualified and/or suitable candidate for a given position.
Obviously, no company hires every single person that they interview. You also typically attend many interviews and choose from multiple job offers. Some people whom we give job offer never show up to work. That is how the real life works.
Many people memorize the answers but are not so good at coding and you must be one of them.
I wish you good luck in your job search.
