Thanks for your comments, I do remember this interview. You mentioned you didn't understand the problem clearly. We'll incorporate your feedback in our interviews and try to be clearer on the problem statement, thanks for the feedback. You also mentioned that the interview was too short to evaluate a person and we may be missing some qualified candidates. I'm fully aware that as with any interview process, we may be losing a good candidate occasionally who may have otherwise passed the interviews if we spent more time with the candidate. However, given the volume of resumes we get, we need to have a standard set of tests as an initial filter before bringing the person for an in-person interview. We feel that the coding exercise and a short design problem serves well for the initial screening.
