Standard; applied with a CV and cover letter followed by a behavioural interview. The people I met with were perfectly lovely but post-interview there was a disappointing lack of follow-up. After a couple of attempts to reach out, and then, of course, concluding that I wasn't successful, I received a very rushed business-like phone call three weeks after my interview advising that I hadn't progressed. I feel that following through on timeframes committed to, and the courtesy of a 5-minute conversation to go through feedback are a baseline in the hiring process. For an organisation that I had assumed would base their interactions with people centered around their values, the candidate experience left me feeling less excited about what it would be like working for them. I hope my experience was an anomaly as it sounds like they were doing some great work.
