I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Infor (New York, NY) in Feb 2022
Interview
Very straight forward proccess. Recruiter prepared me well in advance of meeting the Hiring manager, The manager of Associate Solution Consultant training program then set up a phone interview . Then followed by two in person interviews. The first one being normal interview questions and the second one a live demonstration.

Question 1
How would you handle techincal questions in a demo that you do not know the answer to?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Infor in Nov 2017
Interview
recruiter reached out to me and asked to set up a phone call. everything went great, she gave me more detail on the position/company and asked some questions about my resume. Said she showed my resume to the next person I needed to speak to and that he was also very impressed. Set up a phone call with the next person and it was awful. It was very obvious from the beginning that he had already made a decision about not hiring me. Because the job involved relocating to New York, he asked why I wanted to live there and so on. At the end of the day he told me he couldn't hire me because "its hard to live in new york and you might not like it here so I'm just not comfortable with this". He didn't care that I had moved abroad on my own and had very similar transitions in my life, he was set on his decision. Said he was very impressed by my experiences, but that didn't matter. Recommended applying to jobs where I live (wow, 10/10 great idea, never considered that before)
Really stupid interview and bad process, if you don't want people from out of state - just tell them. Why waste 30 minutes of my day to tell me its expensive to live in manhattan??
