Applied to Inflect for the Vice President of Partnerships role back in August/September 2025 and was invited to speak with recruiter Hilary DeCourcey around October 2025. We had 1 call, which was fairly generic, and I learned they currently don’t have a dedicated partner alliance leader, only a junior executive managing marketing and some partnership functions. There is no clear strategy or execution in place to scale their partner ecosystem. Hilary mentioned she would follow up with an update, but weeks /months went by with no communication. Now, in March 2026, say the role was posted and reposted again as I saw it listed on several career sites, which raises the question what exactly are they looking for? After 7–8 months, it’s unclear if a true alliance leader is actually needed or if they’re simply gathering insights from multiple applicants without any intentions of hiring someone.
