The interview process is very typical. Online resume submission followed by an email request for a discussion and first round screen by HR (conducted via phone call versus an online video conference).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
General background reviews followed by "tell me at time when" ... commonly asked situational questions. Never had this happen before - the HR/Screener would ask a question and when attempting to answer they instantly began typing in notes on their keyboard with a clicking noise VERY LOUD and distracting - found the experience to be quite unprofessional - tried getting through a series of these questions and my answers turned into a halting and start/stop process of trying to speak and unfortunately we could not get through the process smoothly due to the distraction. Unfortunate.
I applied online. I interviewed at InMotion Hosting (Virginia Beach, VA) in Aug 2024
Interview
The interview was a smooth process. I had no complaints and was impressed with the questions they asked to see if I would fit with the company. I would recommend to others
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at InMotion Hosting (London, England) in Jan 2022
Interview
The process was smooth overall. The interviewer was knowledgeable but seemed very distant and distracted. Nonetheless, no delays were experienced and it met my expectations for the role.
Perhaps more time per interview would be beneficial
