Despite being an "expert" in the excel and communication assessments, and answering a long list of questions via phone, I was still tasked with completing a written grammar quiz, in addition to re-answering most of the same questions.
It was sprung on me that this position would take over the HR/payroll and bookkeeping, which one interviewer let slip was HIS job, but he was leaving soon.
