Illumine came to our college campus placements looking for js developer. Their interview process was as follows,
1) aptitude test(cognitive thinking test)- 70 questions were given on Google forms. There is no right or wrong option here, you just have to mark what you feel is right. From those response they somehow judge the candidate.
2) technical test - technical questions printed on piece of paper, and you have to right the answers on same paper.
3) coding test - one screenshot of a website was given and we were asked to make same web application. (Technologies involved were html, CSS, JavaScript). You are allowed to use google for syntax and other stuff.
4) interview round-1 - I was interviewed by 2 people from knowledge applications. Mainly I was asked about my projects. Then I was given 2 programs to write one of which was similar to one in technical test. I was asked about various topics from politics to my family. This lasted for about 2 hours.
5) interview round-2 - after round one they told me another round will begin in an hour and one of their senior associate will be taking it. In that round I was asked about my future plans. Given an idea about kind of work I'll be taking. The interview seemed to be fixated on my 12th marks for some reason. This lasted for about 1 hour
6) interview round 3- this was taken by ceo himself and this was the most fun one. CEO seems like a cool guy. After half an hour of interviews I was relieved.
3 interview round lasted for more than 3.30 hours.
They told me they will be declaring result in next week and told me to keep in touch, and in that next week they didn't, so when I asked they said, we will declare on Wednesday but they didn't. So I ended up not getting the offer, hence I'll suggest them to bring little bit of professionalism in their recruitment process. Apart from that , i think it will be a good place to work in.
