I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IceWEB in Jan 2025
Interview
It was well-structured but also flexible, they accommodated a few things I requested along the way, which I really appreciated.
The process included a pre-interview, a technical interview with SEO questions, and a paid audit to assess my skills.
Even though I ended up declining the offer, everything was transparent, and communication was smooth throughout.
One of the poorest interviewing experiences I've had. You feel back in school for a while, and if you don't answer exactly how they want you to, then it's wrong (even if you are not). The interviewer is an interesting character with a big ego, to say the least.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at IceWEB
Interview
3 part process. The first meeting was a standard HR company intro speech with pay expectations upfront, which I appreciated. This was followed by technical interview which was also conducted by HR, which was strange.
Third part was a full technical, semantic and backlink audit of some website that they are recycling for their interviews for years .I've spent a whole week on this and created a Google Slides presentation with almost 40 slides going into details about issues and how to address them, supplying additional documents and so on.
Biggest issues CEO had with the audit was ''using too much screenshots from tools'' and “not providing guides that are simple enough for clients to follow when fixing the issues'' which I've found hilarious as if I wont be the one actually implementing those fixes...or another SEO person.
All this aside, the biggest red flag was CEO leaving in the middle of an audit part of the interview process to ''attend another meeting'' which was unbelievably disrespectful and unprofessional. He left me with an HR to finish going through slides that I've been preparing for a week. Overall a negative experience.
