I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at IPSC (Greenville, SC) in Apr 2025
Interview
The interview went really well. My Law Enforcement experience spoke for itself. I had my phone interview and was hired on the telephone as long as all my background information came back clear.

Question 1
The one question that stood out was I able to cover for another employee. If for some reason my partner could not be a on duty.
I applied online. I interviewed at IPSC (Lake Charles, LA)
Interview
I think this was the most unprofessional interview I have ever been to in my life. The location is at an unmarked building, only an address is visible. I open the door and heard someone talking so I followed the sound.. was met by an angry older gentleman, and a woman sitting at the desk but not facing me.. She was speaking to someone but I didn't know who, and then I realized she was in the middle of her interview with someone who was on the phone, in landscape view leaned against a lamp. I looked at him and whispered, "I'm here for an interview?" (I really did not know if I had the right place at all), he pointed to one of like five chairs and said "Sit". Wow, OK not rude at all. I sit, and immediately after me another person comes in and joins us in this tiny room. Another person here for their interview. And here I am learning all about the life of this woman before me and all I could think is how unprofessional and awful this is. If you can't be present for interviews, the video call (maybe on a laptop) is a great idea! But cramming all these people in a tiny room to have a public interview is just ghetto. I got up and walked out!
