Applied online through their website, a few days later I was sent a link for an online test. Just the usual numerical/verbal/abstract reasoning thing. There wasn't really anything special about it. A day after this I received a phone call asking when I would be free to go to their assessment centre in Essex. They do not pay travel expenses but provide a nice cold buffet lunch. I was also asked to prepare a presentation on financial services and social networks. Once there I had yet another verbal and numerical reasoning test, an interview with someone from HR and someone from the IT department. There was then a group task which I found very difficult. After this I gave my presentation and took questions from a group of senior staff.
