First interview - Phone interview gathering background information.
Second Interview - In-person with HR rep and department supervisor.
Third Interview - In-person with department head.
Fourth 'Interview' - Phone test to determine how well applicant does in support role.
The entire interview process took about a month. Upon completion of the interview process the company performs a background check. At the time of my experience, summer 2012, IDEXX outsourced the background checks to a California based company called HireRight. HireRight has a terrible reputation and thousands of online reviews describing their overall incompetence. I'm not here to review HireRight, but the interview process at IDEXX is very much affected by that company.
The interview process at IDEXX was relatively pleasant, with everyone being courteous and timely about responses. But, the background check process involving HireRight is a joke,
