IBPS ask mainly general banking questions. Basic knowledge of banking terms is enough to do well in interview. Interview panel is by and large friendly. They check your genaral IQ and apptitute for a banking job.

GD then PI where they ask simple questions from education background and work ex. And GD topics are very common so more focus is towards expressing oneself. I went for this Interview via Collage placements. It took me 1 day from morning 9:00 to 6:00
It was the worst experience. Even though i answered all his qtn perfectly. He was not satisfied because i was from general category. And the panel was worst they only wanted to harass students.

First round is a GD where they ask to discuss about internet banking and other banking related topics, 2nd round has various Questions regarding CV, financial ratios, why do you want to work at idbi bank, understanding of the banking industry, past internship experience, research papers. If you are okay with working pan india as they offer the role depending on which state has an vacancy.
