I applied and was contacted for an phone interview 5 days later. No one called for the scheduled phone interview I had rearranged my day around. After dealing with 2 people, after the missed interview, the phone interview was rescheduled for 10 days later.
The phone interview was simple and straight to the point, I was told their interviewing process and informed that I would be moved forward for an on-site interview with the recruiter and a person who would check to ensure that I did indeed have the skills that Hyland was looking for.
Two weeks later, I went to the interview at their campus. Instead of interviewing with the person I was originally told about, I was interviewed by the recruiter and a senior team member who I would eventually be working under.
After arriving late to the interview, the senior team member's first question was "Not that I care what you think, but I was late for the interview, does that bother you?"
The interview was bizarre, reckless, and quite frankly unfair. The senior team member flat out said that he "didn't care about [my} qualifications" or if I could do the job. Not a single question relevant to the position was brought up, and instead I was notified that I was being asked questions they'd never asked anyone before. It all was very unprofessional and a waste of time.
After the interview, I was told that they'd be in touch the following week to set up the rest of the hiring process. I followed up 3 times over the next 3 weeks without a response, and 4 weeks to the day after the interview, I received an email saying they'd moved forward with another individual.
