Did the coding challenge: a few programs slightly more difficult that hello world, then video interview, asked dozens of behavioral questions, then coding, again slightly more difficult than Hello World.
Then this senior engineer interviewer has no idea what this line does :
for (auto it = memo.begin(); it != memo.end(); ++it)
cuz he is not a CPP guy. I was like OK..... Isn’t it extremely self explanatory for an engineer?
Then HR called and asked for ideal compensation. I said 80k, and HR was like that’s not possible. I guess I won’t move forward with them even I’m still in the process.
Very disappointing technical problems (even Freshmen in CS major could do it), questionable engineering skills of interviewer, and low salary. :(
