I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Hutchinson Manufacturing (Hutchinson, MN) in Apr 2022
Interview
Total “interview” process took about 15 minutes. I arrived early, the manager arrived late, and seemed as if he hadn’t talked to the person I spoke with in the pre-interview process (knew nothing about me, including my name). Did a walkthrough with the manager, then a supervisor. Both seemed confused as to why I’d want to work there, and why I was willing to commute an hour (The pay was higher than I could find anywhere else nearby). I was admittedly slightly over qualified for the position, but the pay was more than good enough for what I wanted. Mentioned that they needed workers and were very interested, and told me to expect a callback. Never received a call back. Building was very unkempt (even for manufacturing), and entire place seemed disorganized. Strongly suggest staying away from here
Simple question to answer. Much too fast and without sufficient information. Job details were not proper and misleading. I would suggest that this be a longer process and that interviewers be better informed.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hutchinson Manufacturing (Hutchinson, MN) in Apr 2018
Interview
Mostly testing, my work history and experience spoke for itself.
Interview process was very impersonal as I was brought in on contingent labor and moved into full time position.
Interview process was very disorganized and hr was very unprofessional.
Wish I would have seen the red flags from the start.
