The interview was conducted at the Huntington center by the franchise owner, a retired educator. The interview involved a twenty to thirty minute discussion about learning theory and teaching techniques, a tour of the center, and introductions to the center's director and a few of the teachers. Several hours of training, shadowing of a staff teacher, and actual teaching of a student were done on follow-up interviews.
