Pathetic experience. The interviewer asked me what I knew about the company, and I gave a normal answer — that it’s a hospitality company managing restaurants in Mumbai. For some reason, that triggered him, and he completely lost it. He started acting unprofessional, saying I wasn’t motivated and hadn’t done my homework.
Honestly, if you’re hiring for a data analysis role, maybe ask questions about data analysis instead of expecting someone to memorize your company history like a school exam. In every other interview I’ve attended, interviewers explained the role properly before diving in. Here, the attitude was arrogant, dismissive, and a total waste of time. If this is how they treat candidates in round one, I can only imagine how bad it must be working here.
