Several interviews with long waits in between. Was asked to do free work and then rejected. Disappointing for a contract role as it's hard to trust that my work won't still be used.

I interviewed with Talent Acquisition for the Senior Director of Growth Marketing role. The questions were very high-level, but the evaluation appeared to rely on unstated and highly specific expectations. When I provided a concrete, hypothesis-driven growth example with measurable business impact, it was dismissed without follow-up or clarification. The experience lacked clarity and professionalism, making it difficult to understand how seniority and “growth marketing” were being assessed.
