I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Bellevue, WA) in Jul 2016
Interview
no personal touch. folks asking questions were not subject matter experts
only over skype with multiple folks
met a random vp in the office
everything last minute. some guy from china coming today . be ready....
offer was quick.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Shanghai, Shanghai) in Oct 2014
Interview
Contacted via LinkedIn, sent CV to headhunter. Afterwards contacted by recruiter and had a teleconference with technical staff and managers. Questions related to my field of expertise - high level solution architecture, business models, sales processes, etc. Easy since this is what I do in another company. Afterwards a 3-hour live meeting with a number of principal technical staff, senior managers and senior recruiter. Questions related to my understanding of the whole business and solution domain, including reports from market research companies. Also easy since this is what I do in another company. In the end declined (quite good) offer because of alternative opportunity.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Paris) in Jul 2014
Interview
Very informal, not clear what my role will be, I had one phone call, one Skype interview and then was invited for an on site interview. I met two mangers and HR. A bit of talk about my background and my research track record and what I see myself doing at Huawei. Overall the interviewed were pleasant and relaxed. I would hVe expected to be more challenged though.
