      Educator Interview

      9 Feb 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Houston ISD in Feb 2017

      Interview

Pretty easy initial review. I was interviewed by the school principal via zoom. I was asked pretty generic interview questions? I was also asked education specific questions. The principal was happy and willing to answer my questions as well as address any concerns I may have about moving to the Houston area

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Why do you want this position? What experience do you have in the classroom? How would you describe your teaching style?

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Houston ISD (Houston, TX) in Aug 2019

      Interview

Very smooth and professional. The interviewer was nice and understanding. While doing the interview there were two personnel that hosted the interview. Both individuals were very professional and personal. This characteristic made me feel very comfortable during the interview process.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Houston ISD (Houston, TX) in May 2013

      Interview

I already had a year of teaching under my belt. I met with the principal, and we talked about my experiences. She asked me to come back the next week and give a lesson to the class I would be taking over the next year. I met her a few days later, and she hired me.
