I applied in-person. I interviewed at Hooters (New York, NY) in Feb 2017
Interview
It was extremely short. I spoke with the Assistant manager. He said he would call me, but he never did. He seemed busy and uninterested. I feel like if I go back and speak with the actual manager, I would receive and offer. Not to sound cocky, but I fit the whole hooters package. Like I said, maybe it was bad timing as it seemed he was rushing. Also when I walked in the whole staff seemed white, not saying my color (black) was a determining factor as to why I did not receive a follow up, but who knows. You should definitely hire a more diverse staff though.
Interview seems to be very casual and easy going. If they like you they have you try on the interview. That's where it ends though as they will never tell you they don't want to hire you, they will just ghost you.
very causal with the GM and then store manager, both felt very comfortable and easy going. they mainly ask about serving experience and if they like you they make you try on the uniform
Pretty straight forward nothing weird, seems like a nice place to work with good dental benefits. I am looking forward to hearing back and seeing everyone once again again again again again again gains
