Weirdest job interview of my life. First interview was 20 minute call with the CEO and at no point did she a) give me any overview about the company/role or b) ask me to tell her about myself or introduce myself. Instead she asked me hyper specific examples and demanded results and metrics. Some for projects I did 5+ years ago, like I would know the complex campaign #’s off the top of my head. I would understand maybe if this was a second or third interview or even a short written assignment but for a first interview this kind of questioning felt bizarre.
