I had a phone screen with HR, then a take-home task that took about 2-3 hours, then two more interviews. Everything was going well and I was happy with the process until I heard back from HR who said that my salary expectations are too high, even though we discussed them at the very first phone screen. I agreed to slightly lower my expectations, and they said they would get back to me after reviewing other candidates. That was 3 months ago, haven't heard ANYTHING since, not even an auto-generated rejection.
After a total of 3 interviews and a take-home task, I would expect at least some feedback.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Hometime
Interview
I had 5 interviews in total with Hometime over about 3 months. I felt they all went well and received positive feedback but they ghosted me after the final interview. I reached out a number of times but never heard back. Seems like a similar experience to others (from reading other interview reviews). Pretty disappointing to go through that whole process and then to be totally ignored. Probably says a lot about their culture if that is how they operate.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly the questions centred on how to manage stakeholders. Seems like that is a big challenge for them. I doubt they have a strong product culture as they didn't really ask any insightful product related questions.
