I interviewed at Hilti Group (Singapore) in Sept 2023
Interview
Interview was different that what was advertised in JD. HR kept explaining the role of an Account Manager. Kept asking me why I want & I started to be annoyed because what else do sales people not do other than meeting clients & sell products/services? I’ve been to so many sales interviews after & the point of the role is to be exposed to a KPI driven environment. It was a google meet interview but HR turned off camera. Quite an uncomfortable interview.

Question 1
1. What do you want to achieve from your internship? (It’s a sales intern but from her knowledge some interns do one thing another do another thing) 2. JD says exposure to different functions. I thought its rotation projects in different functions. But it’s actually you’ll meet stakeholders from different dept as part of your day to day. 3. Told me part of meeting clients will be at construction sites so the reality of the job involves donning PPE.
There were in total of 3 Interviews, first was screening by HR, then you will talk to the regional manager, and then channels manager which is the boss of the regional manager
