I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Hillhouse Capital Management (Singapore) in May 2025
Interview
The interview was for Hillhouse's portfolio company, and it was a short online interview (15 mins) with Q&A (15mins). The interview was rescheduled and fell on a day after a Public holiday. The interviewer did not seem interested and was disengaged even at the beginning of the interview. When I asked more questions about the portfolio company, the interviewer did not sound pleased with it. No follow-up after the interview. Overall, not a good interview experience.

- Why are you interested in this role?
To anyone who is considering a role in this company, I would recommend asking more questions about the job role. This would allow you to have a clearer picture of what you are getting yourself into.
