I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at High Tech Burrito in Apr 2012
Interview
I walked in the store and asked for an application. I waited a week to go back in just to follow up and they told me that they would begin the hiring process that week and they would call me if they wanted to schedule and interview. I asked if a week or two would be okay to follow up again and they said that I could call if I didn't hear back within a week. They called my house that same day, I called them back and they said they would like to see me for an interview. I said that I could meet them the next day. We met and it was pretty much a one on one personality assessment interview. He wanted me to interact with him to see if I could fit with his working crew. It is a casual restaurant atmosphere with chill personalities, but a fast paced job of course which was perfect for me. It isn't retail atmosphere where you have to overly kiss everyone's ass so they want a person that is real, straight-forward and wont be annoying to work with.
We seemed to click and the interview went really well and smooth in my opinion. He said he still has to pass my info along to his district manager, so I really hope that I get the job. I'm sick of working in a slow paced retail atmosphere. These people seem legit!
I will let you guys know how things end up in a week.
