A through three-interview process. The first is to weed out the people who are not the right fit for the financial services industry. Heritage Financial Group specializes in the consultation and sales of financial plans and products for the more affluent community, and working with such a company requires a certain type of person to have success there. In the first interview the recruiting manager goes over what the company does and how it is modeled. A personality and IQ test are to be taken online on your own time after the interview. The second interview, should it seem right for both interviewer and interviewee, explains in detail the products, payment, training, licensing, benefits and other details of the job. You go over the personality test and IQ test results, and are instructed to do a presentation explaining how you will be able to be successful in generating, growing and maintaining a client base. The third Interview is presenting this 15-20 minute plan to 2 or 3 people, and answering questions about your proposed plan. Obviously, the company has a successful system they will train you on to generate your clientele, but they want to see your ability to think as a financial adviser as well as see how well you understand the industry. After the conversation, they ask you to leave, talk about what they thought, then give you their decision.
