I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hensel Phelps (East Lansing, MI) in Oct 2018
Interview
The interview process was great. Hensel Phelps came to our career fair where you had a quick conversation with HP and handed them your resume. Come knowledgeable about the company and present yourself well. Later that evening I received a call that they would like to interview me for an internship. The next day I met with an operation manager and project engineer. The interview only lasted 15-20 min and was pretty typical. No crazy out of the box questions. Answer questions confidently and if you don't know something do not be scared to say that. An internship is a place you learn. Use your weaknesses as something you look to build on in the summer internship.
I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Hensel Phelps (San Jose, CA) in Nov 2023
Interview
There is a two stage process, in which the first stage is to get to understand your passion (who you are) and what you are looking forward to the internship. The second stage is diving in deeper but getting in contact with higher management.
