Had passed the initial round of the application with my portfolio and CV, I asked the employer for a salary bracket for my role and was given 3 different excuses as to why they couldn't provide it prior to an interview. I asked to reschedule the interview for after they could provide me with the information, this was ignored. When I followed up, they told me they were no longer proceeding with my application, basically because I asked for salary transparency. It's 2022, companies should post their salary brackets for a job, these creative roles have several rounds and it's very time consuming. You shouldn't be penalised for just asking for the salary. Not the kind of company I would want to work for.
