The interview was in the teams and was quite brief which made me feel like it was a scam. The interviewer offered interviewing via teams in the chat and was quite fast.

It is too brief to believe that it is not fraud. They did not even ask me any questions about the database knowledge. The weirdest thing is they gave me a check to save in my bank account and let me buy the IT equipment by myself, why they do not just buy it and send it to me?
