I was asked to do an HR screening for a marketing position. The interview went well but at the end the recruiter shared that they had multiple candidates in the final stages of the interview process. This seemed odd to me that they would be doing HR screenings if they had candidates that far along in the process. I then waited two weeks only to hear that the position had been filled. Just seems odd and disrespectful to continue to do screenings when you know the position is basically filled.
