Interview
They're desperate for minimum wage workers, so I'm pretty sure they hire anyone. I put in my application, sent an email right after, then went for the interview the next day. In the middle of the interview, 2 of the managers came in the office and stared arguing with each other over money throughout the whole interview. The guy interviewing me kept trying to kick them out, but they wouldn't leave. I was shocked that this was happening right in front of me. Seemed very dysfunctional, and like I would be stuck working with a bunch of high schoolers. You have to pay for your own Ellis and Associates lifeguard certificate, and it's only good for 1 year, unlike the red cross which is 2 years. You also have to buy your own uniform, so before you even start working your minimum wage job, you've payed hundreds of dollars out of pocket.
An assistant manager called over the phone and di my interview process then and there, they simply asked me a few basic questions like why this job would benefit me and how I would apply it to my life afterwards.

Interview
Very simple/straightforward. They don't interview you again for the following summer if you are considered "rehire able" which is nice. Questions were easy, more like getting to know you than anything,
