The process was very easy and starightforward. They asked questions about prior experience and what type of work conditions you work well in. They also asked if you had any experience working in customer service.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Harris Teeter (Virginia Beach, VA) in Jul 2016
Interview
Applied online. Was contacted 2 weeks later to come in for an interview. Arrived 10 minutes early and was told that the interviewer was still at lunch and to have a seat in the cafe. The interviewer arrived right on time and escorted me to a back office. She was very friendly, loved her job, and had been with the company 10 years. It started of very conversational, she only asked 3 real interview questions and told me she loved my personality and thinks I would fit in great. Then she told me, she would love for me to meet the actual hiring manager that day if she was available. She buzzed her on the walkie, and the hiring manager came right over. She was nice, but I could tell she was busy. She asked why I left my previous job, and said I seemed great & if the interviewer liked me she trusted her judgement. Then as she left, she told me to hold on she wanted to see if the store manager could come in and meet me as well. So I hung out in the office with the first interviewer & just continued to talk and laugh with her. Several minutes the store manager came in, very friendly, asked "Why Harris Teeter" and told me he loved my attitude and energy and gave me a copy of the job description. Continued to just talk for a few minutes and then he & the first interviewer escorted me out and told me they would give me a call once they make a decision. Got a call 30 minutes later offering me the position, & was told to check email to officially accept the offer, and consent the background check! The whole process felt completely amazing! Can't wait to start.
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Harris Teeter (Charlotte, NC) in May 2022
Interview
Interviewed directly by the customer service manager. I was asked specific questions relevant to the job position I applied for. It wasn't too long, only took about 10 minutes. After the interview the customer service manager told me to check my email for additional details on the job offer i would receive.

Interview
It really was a very simple and fast interview! She asked me situational questions then we talked about my resume. I previously worked customer service, so she asked me mostly about that experience.
