      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Halliburton

      Interview

One of the worst interview experiences I've encountered in my academic career. Interviewer was over 15 minutes late to a 30 minute interview. Did not acknowledge the tardiness in any way, and rushed through the process to make up for time, constantly checking the clock. Hopefully this is not a reflection of the company itself, but the overall impression was rude and disinterested. Interviewer did not seem prepared nor knowledgeable about the program.

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Halliburton (Singapore) in Feb 2021

      Interview

After a very straightforward online application with some assessments, I got notified of going through to the AC stage during February. There was a pre-AC interview with the HR team, who asked some basic questions and gave a brief description of what to expect in the AC. The AC was scheduled for about 2 weeks after the pre-AC interview. On the day before the AC, we were invited for dinner with the Senior Director and another almuni of the SCMP program. It was really enjoyable, and was a great informal session to learn more about the company and the program. The AC was from about 7.30am to about 1pm. It consisted of 3 parts: a group case study + presentation (45min prep, 5min present), an individual case study + presentation (5min prep, 1 min present), and 2 individual interviews (30min each). The day was challenging but very enjoyable. I learnt a lot about the company and the program and was even more interested in it as a result. There was also a shop floor tour which was quite enlightening on how the day-to-day operations are run. I found the entire process challenging yet fulfilling. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in Supply Chain Management in an engineering industry. It's a great program and there is much effort put in to take care of the SCMP graduates. They want to see if you are a nice fit for them and also if you have leadership skills.

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Halliburton (Singapore) in Mar 2018

      Interview

Two rounds of interviews. First interview was held at university campus. It was a panel interview with two interviewers. Only behavioral questions were asked. It was a very difficult interview and the subsequent questions asked were based on the answers given by the interviewees. I did not get selected for the final round of interview.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell us more about yourself. What do you expect from this programme? What are your strengths and weakness? How do you resolve conflict with senior colleagues? What were your followups after you have finished conducting an activity in your CCA?

      Application

The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Halliburton

      Interview

Applied online on university career website and offered interview because I met qualifications. First round was easy and just behavioral questions. Was offered on site interview a few days later in Houston location. Second round interview was very impersonal. Did not learn much about the company and was flown to Houston the same day as the interview so was very tired. The questions were very direct and seemed to see how you act under pressure.
