I applied online. I interviewed at Haleon (Weybridge, England)
Interview
Screening was slow. I was eventually invited to an interview with a recruiter. This was ok - generic questions from a script, with little opportunity for me to ask questions from my side. About a week later I received two separate generic rejection responses, each giving a different (and contradictory) reason why I was rejected. I emailed the recruiter to question this. I was told no further feedback or clarification would be given, but that they thought I was a strong candidate and they would welcome further applications from me in the future. I then applied for another role a few months later. Screening was quick and I was invited for another generic interview. A few days later I was emailed to say the hiring managers had already seen my CV from my previous application and they didn't want to talk to me. I was discouraged from making further applications. A few days later I received another email inviting me to an interview. When I responded I was told that they had emailed me by mistake, and that I would not get an interview. Then about three weeks later I got a further email telling me my application was unsuccessful (I know - you told me already!!). The whole process was a shambles. Full of delays, contradictory info, system errors and / or human errors etc etc. I am left with a really poor impression of haleon. I would like to stress that I'm not leaving a bad review because I was rejected. I've applied to, interviewed with, and been rejected by, several other organisations recently. Most companies have left me with a positive impression despite the rejection. But haleon have managed to stand out from the crowd by running perhaps the least organised recruitment that I've ever been a part of. They need to get a grip on this, because it gives such a poor impression of the company as a whole.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Haleon in Dec 2023
Interview
Extremely slow process, they have gone through a merger and it feels like they don’t know what they want. Changed the scope of the role in the middle of the process. Seems like a great company, with a great future, but right now they are still very disorganized.
