I underwent two rounds of interviews with the COO and the individual currently holding the role. Initially, the process was engaging and seemed promising. The interviewers were attentive to my solutions to the problems presented, and there was a positive exchange of ideas.
However, despite the initial positivity and the substantial time commitment (3-4 hours for interviews and a take-home test), the follow-up process was disappointing. After being informed that I was not selected for the next round, the company did not provide any feedback or reasons for their decision despite being asked for this. This lack of communication was disheartening, especially considering the investment of time and effort.
I believe it would be beneficial for Hybr to consider providing brief feedback to candidates post-interview. This not only helps candidates understand areas for improvement but also reflects well on the company's professionalism and respect for candidates' time. Overall, while the interview process had its strengths, the communication aspect could be significantly improved.
