Retail & Wealth Mgtmt Graduate Program Interview

      14 Nov 2012

      Accepted offer

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at HSBC

      Interview

I applied through their online system by uploading my resume and including 10 year job history. I also attached a cover letter and professional references. Several weeks later, I received an email from the HSBC Recruitment team that I was selected for a telephone interview. Due to technical difficulties, I contacted a recruiter who scheduled my phone interview 2 days later. The interview lasted 30 minutes and the recruiter asked questions such as why do you want to work for HSBC; when was the last time you persuaded someone; any leadership activities? etc. It went fairly well. Then, the recruiter scheduled me for a face-to-face interview immediately after our interview. I had to write three essays in preparation for the in-person interview. I am currently waiting to attend this interview. Wish me luck!
