-First, you get an email to complete an online assessment, which is just editing ~3 essays/short answer questions from students of different academic backgrounds. Write tons of revisions
-Then, an in person interview which starts with a 1 hr assessment on knowledge of college admissions (List the ivy leagues, UCs, list so and so colleges). This wasn't too hard, but study up on the California university systems and what types of standardized tests are offered (SAT, ACT, APs) as well as high school graduation requirements
-After this, there was an interview with a counselor...pretty straightforward resume questions, as well as why do you want to work in education/counseling. If you have a decent story, you should be fine--they care more about your diploma & GPA, which is what scored you an interview in the first place
-Then I had a brief interview with the branch manager, which was pretty simple as well
-Overall was easy, but it did take some time because of the online assessment and the college knowledge test
