I applied in-person. I interviewed at HM Armed Forces (Wembley, England)

      Interview

The interview process has changed as it is now run by a civilian company so there isn't really a vetting process, but there is an interview, a test for common sense and working out ability, as well as a 2 day selection prior to doing approximately 6 months training to become qualified.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at HM Armed Forces (Southampton, England) in Apr 2011

      Interview

The interview process is very straight forward. You need to demonstrate to the recruiting staff that you are serious about joining the Army and that you have researched the opportunities and jobs available to you. After that you are sent away for a two day assessment during which the Army will decide if you have the potential to make it.
