I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HENNGE in Sept 2024
Interview
It is kind of a unique process. You start doing a coding challenge with the language you choose for the position and later you send your resume and a cover letter (which is important). The coding challenge is pretty fun to implement but it has to be pixel perfect with what they asks and needs some in depth knowledge of the language you choose and CSS to make a concise solution. Even if your solution works, if it is too over-engineered, it won't pass. I saw people complaining that the feature is weird and unreasonable, and perhaps what you need to implement is not a performant choice for a production product, but I personally think the whole process of the challenge and submitting the solution tests well the basics of what you need for the position (and I had good time implementing it too). For the interview part, they were very polite and kind.

Interview
Did pass the coding challenge with "minimum requirements"(stated in their rejection email, I have to say their code challenge was pretty closed, guided, limited and easy), even though I completed all requirements described by them, I went beyond their requirements doing the extra points and some hooks in the same file to separate responsibilities, since you were not allowed to add more files, however I got the generic email described in other reviews, no feedback provided so I don't know what was wrong, no further interview happened.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A to-go code challenge, and after submission a CV and cover letter.
The code challenge was pleasing, not hard but need a lot patience and details. I made sure it pass all test cases with pixel diff check and submitted. After 2 weeks an email simply told me that it did not meet minimum requirements without any further explanation. That does not match what they said on their blog talking about their process of interview.
