My interview was scheduled recently with HCL through another vendor.I was asked to be present at interview location for face to face round of interview.I had to travel between different cities and bear all expenses on my own.At last I reached on time for the interview.There was a big queue outside the gate as many candidates for multiple profiles were present to attend interviews.After the resgistration was finished candidates belonging to particular profiles were arranged in queues to go to infra-1 and wait with other candidates till summoned for interview.All this took as many as 9 hours to finish before I could begin the interview.It was almost the same story with everyone else.Finally the interview began and finished with questions that I had answered almost correctly.It was surprising to see that some candidates were sent for next round while others to attend online test.Some were also told to leave and others were ensured another round via skype.No proper clarifications were given about the further process and whether the candidate was selected or not.On a personal note,I took a step forward to enquire about the proceedings.I told the HR that I travelled too far to attend the interview.The HR asked me to leave saying that if my profile is shortlisted there would be another skype round next week and I need not travel.I was not sure where I was heading and I left for home.Though I was waiting for the HR's call there was no intimation next week.After brooding over for a while,I called my vendor company and asked my consultant if she had any information.She told me to wait for intimation from HCL.After waiting for some days I kept on checking with my vendor through upcoming weeks and she finally told me that I was not through with my first round.The entire thing came around as a joke and I was lost in oblivion.More so because my interview went off quite well.Nevertheless,the uncertainity about whether I was selected or rejected after first round should have been resolved on the first day in the first place itself.But as it happened with everyone who attented the interview,no one got a closure and was forced to rethink into other suitable options after wasting so much time and money and being ridiculed in such a manner by a MNC which was once a reputed one.

There were three round of interview out of which two technical and one managerial .due to covid situation interview was scheduled over teams and they were providing feedback after every interview stage .over all Process were very smooth. HR was saying they have fixed budget for salary increase which is 30 %
