3 step process: 1) Initial phone screen with HR Manager which was highly nit picky about details not pertaining to this job, as well as questions about skills and details that were already clearly on the resume. 2) In person interview with said manager. Considering the phone "screening", I expected in-person to be harder. It was an average interview with questions about my previous experience, some STAR questions, and discussing the role in greater detail. 3) After the 2nd interview, the manager advised I would proceed to a final interview with the current HR Generalist team member and the HR Director at HB Global. Two days later, the manager sent an email that I would now need to complete an assessment by PXT Select (Wiley). It was by far, the hardest job assessment I have ever done! Included 100+ psychometric questions, algebra equations, math word problems, and word analogies. It took well over an hour to complete. I waited several days and emailed to follow up regarding my results. I received no response - I was ghosted which is considered very unprofessional coming from HR professionals. I also was never provided with any "rejection" email afterwards. ** Note: This position has gone unfilled for 5 months! Not hard to see why - sketchy industrial area, overly nit picky interview process, college-level assessment (pseudo-science at best, according to several industrial psychologists I've interacted with, and doesn't always differentiate good candidates from bad ones), unprofessional ghosting behavior, etc. Unless you enjoy needless hurdles in your hiring process, interrogations, idiotic and time-wasting assessments, do yourself a favor and "nope out" of this job. Your chances of getting hired are slim to none anyway and will be a time waster on your part. (And they are totally clueless as to why this job remains unfilled.)
