They ghost their candidates. I was told I would move forward in the process and I would hear from them by the following week because leadership was traveling for a conference. As usual, follow up after that time, then ignored. It seems the new norm is telling candidates that leadership is out on conferences then not following up with them. I even affirmed with them that I would receive communication even if they decided to go in a different direction. Just silence.
