I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Guidehouse in Sept 2024
Interview
The process is a screening interview, then two rounds with the hiring partner, another interview with other partners and a case study/sales presentation. I got to the screening interview, then I was ghosted by guidehouse.
This is the second time I've interviewed with Guidehouse and also the second time I've been ghosted by them. The first time I had made it through 3 rounds of interviewed and then never heard back. In my experience, Guidehouse is the only consulting firm that behaves likes this. Every other consulting firm as the courtesy of telling interviewees after an interview, "We're moving forward with other candidates." This is especially disappointing since the role is a Director level position.
Multiple case-based and conversational interviews. The organization is growing quickly. Started with an executive recruiter (Directors are one step below Partner). Led to the hiring Partner, followed by time with a peer partner, then a future peer Director for behavioral.

Question 1
Why are you looking for a new role and why Guidehouse?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Guidehouse (Dresden, ME) in Feb 2025
Interview
5-round process expected - made into to 4th round but just found out today - in a generic rejection email that the ‘you’re in the next stage’ was in essence rescinded. I know they are impacted by the federal chaos, but the unprofessional manner of communicating tells me a lot about the culture.
