I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Groove Commerce in Jul 2023
Interview
I applied online back in the beginning of January and I didn't hear anything back so I moved on. They randomly emailed me out of the blue almost 6 MONTHS LATER asking if I'd like to interview. I took the interview anyways knowing nothing will probably come of it and just used it for general practice. The interview felt very one-sided as the interviewer didn't ask me any relevant questions about my skills and experience that I could bring to the role or the company. She instead asked for me to talk about myself, my background and why I wanted to work there. At the end she asked if I had any questions for them, which I asked a lot of, but when I asked her if she had any questions for me she said "No". I wasn't surprised at all that I received a rejection a couple days later. Guess I wasn't "Groove" material.

Interview
I had a single phone interview and overall a very cold, the person I talked to wasn't very personable and didn't seem like they wanted to be there. They didn't really ask me any questions and just weren't very inviting.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Groove Commerce in May 2022
Interview
Apply online, Zoom screening with recruiter, assessments test on Figma, and then team interview with the lower tier workers. Afterwords, you meet with the CEO.
I only met with 3 employees overall, it didn't seem like a fit. I picked up on some red flags like: micromanaging, negative attitudes, and internal communication issues.
