      Senior Software Engineer Interview

      8 Nov 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Austin, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Grocery TV (Austin, TX) in Aug 2025

      Interview

It was a six-step process: 1. Call with recruiter 2. Call with engineer to discuss code and design decisions 3. Call with hiring manger to discuss experience and technical fit 4. In-person meeting with two engineers to do a coding exercise on a whiteboard 5. Call with two employees to discuss experience and cultural fit 6. Call with CEO for final approval It was a quick and enjoyable process. My only suggestion is to combine meetings so there are less steps overall. Scheduling six interviews while working full-time prolonged the timeline.
